Why Maltese?
The AKC (American Kennel Club) states that the Maltese is considered “to be among the gentlest mannered of all little dogs, yet lively and playful as well as vigorous.” They love everyone and everything, including children and other pets. They absolutely are the most loving and affectionate little furry friends you could ever imagine they are also know to keep their puppy-like personalities into old age. When fully grown our puppies usually weigh between 5-7 lbs., on occasionally one of our smaller puppies might grow to weigh only 3-4 lbs. or a larger puppy might grow to 7-8 lbs. While size cannot be guaranteed, on our end educated guesses can be made from our experience and past babies, of course diet and exercise always plays a big part in the size of small dogs!
